Lederhosen Size Guide

The Lederhosen For Sale collection is inspired by authentic German craftsmanship and made from high-quality, genuine cow leather. Like all genuine leather products, Lederhosen require some time to break in and naturally adapt to your body’s shape. For the best fit, please follow the measurement guidelines below.

Lederhosen and Bundhosen will naturally loosen by approximately 0.5 to 1 inch after being worn 2–3 times as the leather softens and molds to your body. We recommend breaking in your Lederhosen before Oktoberfest to ensure a comfortable fit. If you are unsure about your exact size, we recommend choosing the larger size and referring to our Lederhosen Size Guide.

For the waist, measure snugly around your waist where you normally wear your pants, keeping the measuring tape comfortably against your skin without pulling it too tightly.

Dirndl Size Guide

The Dirndl For Sale collection combines traditional Bavarian style with quality craftsmanship, designed to provide an authentic and comfortable fit. Because every body shape is different, taking accurate measurements before ordering will help you select the right Dirndl size.

Bust: Measure around the fullest part of your bust, keeping the measuring tape straight and comfortably snug. Do not pull the tape too tightly.

Waist: Measure around the narrowest part of your natural waist. Keep the tape comfortably snug without pressing into your skin.

Dirndl Length: Measure from your waist down to where you would like the Dirndl skirt to fall. Depending on the style, Dirndls are commonly available in different lengths, so choose the length that best suits your preference.

Bavarian Shirts

Frequently Asked Questions

For the best fit, take your measurements while wearing light clothing. Measure your bust at the fullest point, waist at the narrowest point, and hips at the fullest point. Compare your measurements with the size chart provided on our Size Guide page and select the size that most closely matches your measurements.

Dirndls are designed to have a fitted bodice, so the bust and waist measurements are especially important. We recommend choosing the size that corresponds most closely to your measurements rather than automatically sizing up or down. If you are between sizes, check the individual product's size information before ordering.

A properly fitted Dirndl should feel comfortably snug around the bodice without restricting movement or causing excessive pulling. The blouse should sit comfortably, while the skirt should allow enough room for comfortable movement. Use your bust and waist measurements as the primary guide when selecting your size.

Dirndl sizing can differ from standard US or UK clothing sizes. For this reason, we recommend using your actual body measurements and comparing them with the size chart rather than relying solely on your usual clothing size.

For a dirndl blouse, your bust measurement is the main measurement to consider. Measure around the fullest part of your bust and compare it with the blouse size information provided for the product. If the blouse has a different sizing chart, always follow the measurements listed for that specific item.

If your measurements fall between two sizes, review the measurements and fit information provided for the specific product. Consider the garment's design and fabric, as some styles may offer more flexibility than others. When in doubt, choose based on the measurement that is most important for the garment's fit, particularly the bust and waist for a dirndl bodice.
